VERY PISSED... (To go) I ordered a 3 meat plate (3 pieces of sliced brisket, and sausage w/ side of sauteed cabbage and coleslaw). My brisket was 3 slices of fat and white with barely any meat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My cabbage was soggy like it was frozen and then reheated . I just ate the sausage and threw everything else in the damn trash ️. It pisses me off that I spent my money on that.. such a disappointment since I have ate here before and actually enjoyed it but not today! I'm not going back no matter what-Ohhh but the baked potatoes with chopped brisket (no fat) looked amazing as my family sat down and ate while I sat on the couch mad at the world . Thank you backdraft BBQ...
I had high expectations, cute little place, love the theme, smelled really good when I walked in like how a BBQ joint should smell, but flavorless brisket literally, definitely baked and not smoked. Ordered the BBQ baked potato came with everything on the side so I had to pull the meat off and chop up the potato add the butter, sour cream and cheese then put back together kinda weird it was served that way. Definitely a 1 and done kind of a place.
Super cool place. Great service, good people and a good vibe. The place initially smells like soot. I don't know how they pull that off but it's called Backdraft for a reason and they sell the atmosphere. I bought 3 plates for $20. Dang good deal. I'll be going back in the morning for breakfast. i read reviews of people complaining about this place but to me over all the food has always been delicious and fresh.Breakfast tacos are delicious as well.
