This restaurant is simply outstanding. The food is exquisite, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The setting is gorgeous, especially at Rockaway Beach—definitely opt for an outdoor table to enjoy the view. Their salad dressing is phenomenal! We arrived unexpectedly looking for a bottle, and although they had run out, the staff quickly prepared a fresh batch for us. Now that's what I call customer service! We will definitely return!
When we were driving on Rockaway Beach Blvd, we were attracted by Bernadette’s exterior green adorable wall. We stopped by and gave their brunch a try. We had their Duck Benedict and Chicken Waffles to share between two people. The portion was decent with reasonable price. The food was overall delicious, especially the fried chicken which was juicy flavorful. The duck was a little dry but the pouched eggs were perfectly cooked.
It was a wonderful experience to eat at this Brazilian place in Rockaway. The chef and staffs were very helpful in explaining the food and showing us the photos of its offering. We had a very refreshing acai bowl, Brazilian style empanada and steak. As we had our dog with us, we had our meal on the bench outside. The staff was very attentive with the service even when we sat outside of the bistro.
We ordered pickup brunch. It was prepared quickly, the packaging was perfect, and the food was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Rockaway! Update: came back today, about a year later and ate on site. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was honestly some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Réservez une table maintenant
I always pass this place until a very good friend told me to try their burger. So I called place my order for a cheese burger and ask what was in the meat. The guy said... oxtail........ there are other meat in the patty but oxtail was all I heard. I got to admit it was damn good! Happy Jack got competition.
Love this cozy little place. Owners are great amd the food is always fresh and extremely delicious. Love hitting this place up for a wonderful breakfast to start the day.....
