Waited one hr after our 5:15 Rsvp. It took 25 minutes to get our drinks water. We waited another 20 for our salad, then the soup they made at the time. The cook came about half an hour after soup salad. The grill was too hot, burned the eggplant where it had burned flavor scent. It has not cleaned the grill before cooking our foods so that the flavors were all mixed. The fillet, chicken shrimps were not temperature hot and was more like room temperature to it cooking it from the lowest part on grill. The vegetables were saturated in too much butter and were fat. The service was missing and never saw our waiter after our order, but perhaps once. The manager did his best to find out what a bus...
One of my favorite restaurants to attend. By far this was the worse experience. Our waiter was absolutely HORRIBLE. We kept having to repeat ourselves, reminding him of our requests We order appetizers, and ALL were COLD. I had to send back one appetizer and request it to be made properly. ten mins later they brought it back and it was still frozen. Asked to speak with the manager and complained The best part was the teppen chef, we tipped him directly I definitely will not be eating at that location again.
We had a large party of 10; unfortunately squeezed into an 8 table seating, which was ok because at least we were all together. Excellent service and our chef, Eric, was THE best! Not only was his presentation phenomenal, his food was seasoned perfectly!Had just went to a different Benihana's a week prior and wasn't impressed with the taste of the food; so having chef Eric'syummy food was a highlight!
My reservation was at I waited until for food to be served. I should not have to spend hours for lunch . My plate was dirty and other party at my table was treated better than me because they got more fried rice than me. I want a gift card since I was treated so poorly. My waitress was nice but slow .

Had a blast on Friday, 3/3/17.... Adam was our chef....he was excellent! Funny, personable, entertaining my 89 yr. old Mother had the best time!!!
What a great time and our chef was the best we have ever had… I would will go back to the Santa Anita location.
