Great food and decor! Billykart is an awesome little restaurant in South Brisbane with a menu to match. We had the crab toast and spinach & ricotta dumplings for entree which were both divine. The crab toast was refreshing and had very well rounded flavours, and the dumplings were packed full of flavour thanks to both the filling and the excellent burnt butter sauce. For main we had the lamb and porchetta which were both seasoned and presented to perfection. Highly recommended!
We only went to the wine bar so can't comment on the food. Chick serving us was hilarious and apparently is regularly working there. She's very knowledgeable and had good suggestions from the menu. They also let you taste first before you buy which is great. Large range of wines and we had quite a few really nice ones. Was really cold and it rained so would have been nicer if the venue was a little more protected/cosier? Can see how the open aspect would be nice in summer though.

a disappointing breakfast experience, unfortunately. the maisfritter should be referred to as ‘fried potato balls with corn’. I also rarely leave a coffee incomplete, but I could not take more than two sips of my mandellatte, as the milk had completely separated within a few minutes. owners should consider buying a barista mix to avoid this happening.
An awesome evening Good service from our French waiter , pork belly divine , crab spaghetti excellent finished with a shared chic brownie Not a large menu but choice enough and food was very good Highly recommended Not too noisy and seats comfortable

aussie asia eier surpassed all expectations. I woke up the speck for mushrooms. the deep fried eggs were amazing crispy on the outside, but with a beautiful gooey mitte. prawns, noodles chilies. great brunch option as a very filling.

a cute name and an interesting design of the spaces in a former industrial fringe now inner city chic. eating is varied and pleasant.
very lively restaurant. the waiting period was quite long (almost an hour) but when eating finally arrived, it was worth waiting.
