Our first experience dining on a patio after a meal in a restaurant was highly anticipated, so we decided to visit Boston Pizza in Georgetown, Ontario. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge mistake. This was the worst restaurant meal we have had in years. We started with an onion soup and Caesar salad, followed by a shared order of wings cooked well-done with mild sauce. For many, many years, this restaurant used to have the most inconsistent service and food quality in Georgetown (in other words, it was poor on all fronts), but in recent months, they've really stepped-up their game. One has to think that they have new management...in place, who now actually care. Both lunch and dinner experiences have been very positive. The greatest immediate difference you'll notice is the friendly and attentive service by wait staff, who now get the order correct and provide all of the necessary follow-up and check-ins that was previously lacking. We attended for dinner on a Thursday night. The place was not busy at all, maybe people total. I requested a pasta dish that used to be on their menu, arribata penne. Figured no problem as they half made it before even though it...is not on the menu and it always was good. First we waited over mins for the food. I visited this restaurant about a year ago and found the food to be mediocre and overpriced. However, upon hearing that it was now under new management, I decided to give it another try. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The caesar salad, which used to be mostly soggy lettuce, had been transformed into a delicious combination of bacon, shredded cheese, and dressing. It paired perfectly with our main courses: a well-done cheese and pepperoni pizza with a distinct wood oven flavor, and a delicious double bacon cheeseburger pizza. We had a fantastic dining experience at a local restaurant that is definitely worth mentioning. Despite having visited this place numerous times with varying opinions on the food and service, last night's visit was exceptional. The food was delicious, our server, Jessica, was outstanding, and the General Manager, Vince, went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. It was rare to have such high quality in all areas on the same night, especially considering how often we dine out. We truly appreciate the exceptional service and delicious food. All right. an article was ordered the spinach dip, which was so excrementally salty, including the brotes. it was almost unpalatable. I have to say, not almost as good as other restaurants. the service was decent, although I felt that they had a few...more wait employees. about the years we have come back some paintings, but each time we let ourselves feel underwhelmed. no matter where they choose to eat, it is always mixed with great reviews with less than stellars. they decide themselves. a positive note, the atmosphere in the bar area is great and there are many choices on the menu.
After evacuating square one do to a weapon threat, we wanted to have a nice meal to celebrate being alive. And oh boy, did Boston Pizza DELIVER!!!! To start, we had Iced Tea, with a gorgeous, small vegetarian pizza and honey garlic wings. It filled...our stomachs with delight. For our grand finale we ordered a brownie and cheesecake for dessert, served warm with DEEP SPOONS. Used to be our favourite family place, but not any more. Supposedly new ownership fixed alot of the old problems, but I beg to differ. Service was excruciatingly slow last two times. My wife waited minutes simply to place her order with kids in...tow. We waited and watched other tables order and get served before us. Place was barely half full. Kids were both hangry. Never again.
