The Brick Kiln Cellar Door is located in the midst of the McLaren Vale vineyards region. It's easily accessible by road- a short drive from the town of McLaren Vale. The venue is charming- they have a delightful kitchen garden area, and shady places where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine and a good quality gourmet platter. The staff are cheerful, friendly and enthusiastic.Besides that, they offer traditional wine tastings as well. This is a nice place to include in a day trip- and you could easily spend a leisurely afternoon there!Tip: the McLaren Vale Visitor Center is well worth a visit if you're going on a day trip in the area.

sampled a few wines here prior to Lunch at Red Poles. I found the lady at the Pop up cellar door very engaging. The wines were enjoyable, purchased some of the range. The premium red is not available for tasting. I understand the dilemma here, if the cellar door is not busy then its an expensive wine to go to waste, but I do not buy wine at that price without trying it first.I am not sure what the relationship is with the Red Poles restaurant, they don't share the same service philosophy, The lady at Brick Kiln understands service. Perhaps the could have some understanding of having the Premium wine on the wine list

This wine cellar is small, but the wines are really good, the cellar staff were really knowledgeable and passionate about there wines. The Shiraz wines were really good and not too bad in price. The Pinot Grigio is pretty good too. If your in Mclaren Vale this place is worth a visit.

special birthday celebration. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing once again. The service was slow and inattentive, the food was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the overall atmosphere was not welcoming. This will be the last time I visit this restaurant. We tried all the wines and we were impressed with the sparkling shiraz, the Rose the person serving the wine was very knowledgeable and friendly and we didn't feel we were pressured into buying some wine although we did buy a couple of bottles.

We had a cozy winter lunch by a gas lantern, but unfortunately the table next to us was too warm. We found ourselves waiting a long time for our food in the chilly air.

Vale Brewing Company, and a beautiful outdoor dining area. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lively. Don't forget to make a reservation ahead of time!

We are able to meet everyone's needs with beer and wine tasting. The restaurant looked like it would be nice too. The wine was average. Réservez une table maintenant
