Seriously rude old Manager. Not sure if manager or not but due to my medical diet, i had to remove the sauces off of my burger. He made it seem like it was the biggest inconvenience ever, huffing, puffing and giving the worst attitude when repeating order. When burgers arrived, was not surprised that they hadn't removed any of the things i had asked for. I understand that they are in a busy location and the demand is high, But no excuse for rude staff and failure to follow dietary requirements. The food looks amazing, however i had a highly disappointing experience. I would say your better off going to a Mc Donalds at least their staff know how to treat customers..
We made a mistake with this one! There are lots of eateries on South Bank and we got it badly wrong. Barramundi was grilled not battered, Calamari was underdone, chips thin soggy and just warm, salad old and poor and the promised aioli out of a pre packed mini tub with no attempt to present anything well. Nobody bothered to ask if we were okay with the food, nobody wanted to notice our request for attention. Should have known when asked to pay up front! Left and went around the corner for a coffee.
Will start by saying we are regulars at Southbank and creatures of habit....headed for Amicis as usual but the restaurant was closed due to maintenance....ventured 50metre to Aqua ....reasonable prices.....good service....markets were over so not crowded.....food was nice .... had the beetroot salad and also ordered the calamari which was nice....my husband had a pizza and enjoyed that as well.....even thought the wines were reasonably priced for a restaurant.....will be back
My husband and I were looking for a nice resturant to enjoy the lovely seafood and view at Southbank. Since the markets were on there were alot of people around and this was the first place we saw. I ordered the grilled fish - lunch special for $15. The fish was was covered in grease as if it had been cooked on a hot plate with other meat and the salad was not nice. Both meals where a good size for the price but not what I was expecting!

Me and my friend ordered burgers, both of them were really dry and underdone. The staff was really rude and couldnt have cared less. We were the only people there, and yet the staff hid somewhere far away from us and didnt bother to serve.
Average food and presentation. You need to go and order and pay up front. Staff was very friendly and helpful and very good location, just that food can be improved a lot.
I've only tried "magic mushroom" which is absolutely my favourite burger so far! Ingredients are mushroom, Halloumi, rocket and Hummus. Maybe is more suitable for ladies!
Went there and we both had lunch specials for$15 including a can of soft drink, the food was fine, good, and considering the price we would go back again,

It's a nice spot for a quick lunch with a $15 special. Nothing to write home about, but not a mistake either. Had the calamari and the grilled fish.
I expected something nice but got basic franchise food. Overstated squid and a burger. Average at best.
