I checked out this bakery for the first time today. I had a croissant with pistachio cream and a tastry encased date filling cookie . Both very good but the date cookie was over the top fabulous. I also took home some baba ganoush. They also had sourdough bread and other pastries on hand. Spoke with a fellow who was there to have his supper which was going to be fish. Low key vibe but the delectables I sampled were very high calibre. I will go again.
Heard a lot about their chicken shawarma and was very disappointed after trying it out. There was very little chicken and mostly veggies in the wrap. Not recommended. There are a lot of good shawarma places in St. John’s to check out. This is not it. The bakery items a good and definitely deserves a try.
