My spouse and I were staying at the Holiday Inn attached to the East Side Mario’s in St. John’s, NL. After a long day of travel and appointments we arrived late to the hotel, around 8pm. Ordered supper from East Sides at 9pm. 9:30 I...pick up our food. Our selections are Mario’s Chicken Parmigiana and Linguine Chicken Amatriciana. We take it back up to our 5th floor room, settle down to eat, no cutlery. Back down to the restaurant for cutlery and some plates. Plastic cutlery available, no plates. They gave me some take out trays to use as plates and mix up the salads that come with that meal. We’re in a hotel. Why can’t you give us real plates and cutlery?!?! Back up to the room, plastic cut...
It was our 2nd. to last day in St.John,s,and after visiting the north east section of Newfoundland,was hungryEasy access to East Side Mario.I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and spaghetti with meatballs.It was excellent.The waitress was friendly and gave great service.
nice to have a restaurant such as EAST SIDE MARIO within same building as a hotel... on top of this the meals were excellent...there is a bar on the side for adults to enjoy a quiet drink while eating at the same time ... would recommend this place to eat anytime..
Love the food here and the Resturant staff is great! Many of them are long time employees who really look after you. Large portions of food and free refills on a lot of items like soft drinks, salad and their awesome bread loaves.

had breakfast tickets from staying at holiday inn everything off the menu was excellent room service food not very good for diner but eat in the restaurant and the food is food very nice service in restaurant
Great place to go.Food was lovely.Great service.Had all you can eat soup and bread.They took the time to explain the menu to us about all you can eat with soup and bread.
Ate here again while staying at the hotel and I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised at how good the meal was and the service.
We came for quick late night dinner, and the service was great -food delicious. Would recommend it to all travelers.

The food is always so good and service excellent. I wish I could go more often but it always seems so cold.
