We were there a group of six and the meals were brought out after an hour wait, we ordered fish and chips and the fish was doughy and everything was cold. My husbands had fish and chips as well and found a hair. After sending it back they sent out new meals that were still doughy and my friend with me also found a hair. The Bills were waved at the end but the experience has left us not wanting to return for a long while since two hairs doughy cold food and found the place far too dark to see the person across from you to talk or eat.
Gypsy Tea Room is one of my go to restaurants in the city. It's a great place to go for happy hour, a nice dinner, brunch or lunch they have it all. I've also been to countless events here and I'm amazed at how the staff can adapt the space to each function! I once booked their conference room for a group workshop for my business, and it's rare to find a place that's quiet, comfortable, and has all the audio visual capabilities you need (even a Smartboard). Kudos to the team at Gypsy Tea Room for all that they do!
I have to say the overall experience was excellent. The server we had was super attentive and always checking in on us, ensuring our waters were topped up and checking in on our needs. The food was simply amazing and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Definitely recommend going here, especially for business lunch.
Service was good. Seated us at a table that was very wobbly, staff came and fixed it very quickly. Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was very intimate in the back dining area. Lighting was a little too dark. Overall excellent dining experience.

Service that evening was very slow. Server was lovely, but for a 7:30 reservation we received the main course at 9:40! Food was very good when received.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening for our party of six. Service was very friendly and the food was excellent. What more could we ask for?

Service was good, steak was mediocre and overpriced, fries were overdone. Tomato soup was delicious.
