The food is generally good, but my last visit on July 2, 2018, was disappointing. It seems the old cook no longer works there. The fish was overcooked, I requested dry toast, but they served me rye toast instead. The French toast tasted like it was soaked in a mixture of milk, eggs, cinnamon, and onions. They are currently searching for an experienced cook, so if anyone is interested, it might be worth checking out.
The food here is quite good, but unfortunately, the staff leaves much to be desired. The son who usually works at the counter is particularly rude, both in person and over the phone. Instead of accommodating customers, he prefers to argue about the technical names of the dishes. I've been a loyal customer for nearly 30 years and have lived in the area my whole life, but I can no longer support this business.
If your looking for breakfast that you love this is the place have different types of breakfast sandwiches and also make pancakes if you like a platter they make it for you with home fries its good check it out ok
I absolutely love this place! They've been around since before I was born. My parents used to eat here all the time when they lived in Newark, and now I enjoy it just like they did. Réservez une table maintenant
They have the best food in town , I get a beacon egg and cheese sandwich with home fries peppers and onions on top of sandwich... Amazing no one can make it like them
I waited so long to place my order that I ended up leaving. The customers in the area are quite rude, so the poor service didn't come as a shock.

"Waited for the food for more than 40 minutes. Asked how much longer we have to wait for the food they said 20 more minutes. Paid 20$ for the tap water with lemonade powder and left. Disappointed"
