Food was cooked fresh, it was hot but like most places now kinda pricy. Fries were tough fish was ok but not fantastic. Place is big and clean enough but it's no view other than a parking lot. Not much of a vibe. Sever was awesome 10/10 he was super nice and friendly. All in all it was pretty decent but better deals fries that are not tough and half dried out would be a good start. Like I said it was pretty good but im only rating them tough as to make them better.
Ordered a 3 piece fish, chips, dressing and gravy - $20.31. Very skimpy amount of fries, dressing and gravy. I love the taste of the fries and gravy but disappointed on the quantity for the price. It's not like you're paying for atmosphere here plus it was a take-out order!
The Torbay location has swiftly become one of our favorite Ches’s spots in the city. Getting a table is generally easy. The food is consistently excellent, and we appreciate the friendly service and lively personalities of the staff. It’s definitely worth checking out!
Overall the food was great and service not bad. Wasn't checked on throughout meal and had to take left overs up to counter to get a take out box. This could of been a one off. Visit location about twice a year where from out of town but definitely recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
The fish and chips here are excellent! If you grew up enjoying this classic dish, this restaurant will truly take you on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The fish is high-quality and the batter is delicious. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!
The service was incredibly quick. They now offer a combo that includes a snowball, which is a nice addition. The fish and chips were served hot and fresh, and the prices provide great value. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in St. John's.

Every time you go you get the same quality. they charge an arm and a leg but it is usually really good.
