Hidden gem! I didn't know what to expect as this place was not booked out on Friday night. I was blown away! Their food is SUCH GOOD VALUE. One of the best set menus we've ever had! We were so full after. (We added a fried ice cream dessert on top of out set menu and it was worth it hehe). The ambience was the same as a place that would charge at least $100 for a set menu. Actually it may be better they had sound insulation so the voices from other customers all talking at the same time weren't deafening and I could talk with an inside voice and be heard. Chubby Cheek is a hidden gem in Paddington that offers Southeast Asian cuisine with a unique spin. The restaurant features a simple interior with exposed brick walls, herringbone pavers, and dark timber, creating an intimate and exotic atmosphere. We tried the water chestnut dumplings, mushroom rice paper rolls, cauliflower yellow curry, and black sticky rice. As fans of vegan and vegetarian cuisine, we appreciated that Chubby Cheek offers plenty of suitable options.

The food at this Thai restaurant is absolutely delicious. The beetle leaf appetizer was amazing and the aged beef was the best I've ever had. The other dishes were also incredible. While my duck salad was good, it wasn't as outstanding as some of the other dishes. Overall, this restaurant offers great value for some truly amazing food.

There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available, and it appears that the menu can be easily modified to accommodate dietary preferences. Being able to bring your own alcohol is a great bonus, and the wine menu is impressive as well.

We had the buffet for 6 people. Scollop, squid, crackling pork bao, duck salad, crumb fish and chicken red curry. Delicious, fresh, reasonably price $50) well presented and great variety. Lovely restaurant, provided staff.
