Never again no one should go here until new management. 30 minutes to get our drinks when we were the o ly customers had to stop our waiter from clearing a table to get the last person at our table his coke. That table left after waiting 15 minutes with no waiter. Had to call the restaurant to cancel our food after waiting 40 minutes. After our waiter let all our drinks go empty. The entire stay looked and acted high. Heck we drove buy as we were leaving and the cook with no teeth was eating our food. The manager gave use a 10 percent Discount on our 3 beers and a coke at the total was 38 dollar she should have compt them. Never again no one should go here until new management.
I’ve waited a couple of hours to write this review to see if I can let it go! Me and my 10 year old son stopped by while we were looking for a good waffle for him and I was excited to see a European menu options. It was a complete disappointment!! I had my hopes high because of the reviews but I don’t know, maybe who liked the food in here, never been to Europe. Cutleries were super dirty, I couldn’t use, mussels were dry and not fresh at all, the cream they use for waffles were just the frosting, onion soup was the only one I would pay for. very low quality and tasteless food, and hygiene concerns here. I feel like I’ve been robbed $60 for something super unpleasant.
We've visited this restaurant twice. While the atmosphere is pleasant and enjoyable, the food is just average. The mussels and beer selection stand out as highlights. However, the menu lacks more comprehensive choices, particularly when it comes to side dishes. For instance, the waffle is served solo, with nothing accompanying it, which left me still feeling hungry. Additionally, the charcuterie board consists mainly of rolls of lunch meat and doesn't include much else. Ordering a complete charcuterie and cheese board would set you back over $30. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly, and the patio offers a lovely setting when the weather is nice.
The area is always enjoyable, and we ate outside on a great weather day. Our server was new and did a decent job, but he lacked some knowledge so I can’t give the full 4 stars. The food was good as well. Cheese plate didn’t quite impress, but not bad either. The only real thing holding back a 5 star is that none of our group had a “I want THAT again!” type meal. Minority review: The area has a wealthy, white, retired hippie vibe. So not a lot of color around, but no issues either. Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom was on the second floor, no elevator that I saw. Outdoor area has steps. There is one outdoor spot that may be accessible in a pinch

I can’t comment on the food as we only stopped for beer, but it looked like folks were really enjoying their mussel pots! The patio here was the perfect place to beat the mid-afternoon heat — shaded and nestled between buildings it was quiet and enjoyable. They also offer a FANTASTIC selection of German and Belgian beers too! My husband had a Cuvée (Cuvée des Trolls) that was definitely one of the best beers we had in a while. And the host who sat us recommended another along the same lines called Val-Dieu — also excellent. I would definitely recommend as a place to sit and chill ?
The food was just mediocre. Most dishes lacked flavor, but the biggest issue was the presence of fruit flies, which even landed on my plate while I was eating. We tried moving to another table, but it was still unpleasant. They had an open bowl of what I assume was apple cider vinegar to attract the flies, but honestly, they shouldn't be seating customers in that kind of environment. The flies were crawling all over the walls – it was really disgusting! As for kid-friendliness, there was no children's menu available.
The crab sandwich was very small, about one and a half inches round, and it was fried. The portion was not only small, but also the flavor was not impressive. The fries were just okay. The chicken sandwich was also just okay, but nothing impressive. The Belgian waffle was decent, but again, nothing impressive. However, the outdoor seating atmosphere is nice and shaded, and the staff are very friendly.
The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere that felt welcoming and homey, and the food was outstanding. The mussel dishes were generous in size and exceptionally delicious. My waitress was incredibly helpful and assisted us with our orders. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be bringing some friends and family with me next time.

This was an awesome experience overall. Food was AMAZING, owner was AMAZING, atmosphere was AMAZING Highly recommend eating here.
food is excellent. Drink is better. The mood/stimmung of everybody you interact with here is the best. My new home away from home.
