My two friends and I had a lovely evening at Convito Cafe. All the staff with whom we interacted were very pleasant and professional, and the food was quite good. Almost best of all, they kept the music soft, and we were actually able to converse with each other without having to shout something that is becoming increasingly difficult in many restaurants. Thank you!
The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent and delicious. My favorites dishes are the salmon with farro, spinach and mushrooms, and the chicken pot pie. They also have a great selection of wines, and the service is friendly and professional. And the best part? They offer free parking, which is always a bonus for city-dwellers!
Food was not up to their usual standards. Everything looked and tasted pre-made. Green beans were very hard and chewy. The entree potato concoction was totally unremarkable. Service was fine.

I was not impressed with my experience this time. The food was just okay, and the flavors were nothing special - something I could have easily made at home.
My husband had calf’s liver, with bacon and onions and it brought back childhood memories. He loved it. Good service, friendly and responsive. Recommend it!
