Its days of fine dining a distant memory, the restaurant serves consistently good hotel restaurant food...steak sandwiches cooked as rare as you want it, butterflied, breaded shrimp cooked perfectly, good Reuben sandwich and clubhouse, and a generous caesar salad (with an upcharge of $1.75). It's not usually busy so I can occupy a booth for a couple of hours with my computer and enjoy a nice dinner without feeling rushed. Yesterday a friend and I shared a breaded shrimp dinner with baked potato, sauteed vegetables and a caesar salad, for $23.45. Our drinks in the bar waiting for the dining room to open at 5, cost more than our dinner!
My husband and I went to Kenora to visit a great friend. The weekend was busy weekend a lot of hotels were booked. But Days Inn had a few rooms left. We booked asked if had a room close as we had a motorcycle we like to keep watch. They were accommodating said they would watch our bike as some one at front desk all night. When we checked in they had a cancellation and the girl moved us to a closer and more updated room. We were amazed and with great thanks. We will book with them again next time in Kenora. Beautiful place !!!!!
Had dinner and breakfast while staying at this hotel as I did not want to drive anywhere to eat. I ordered a Greek salad with my meal which was NOT a Greek salad that I have ever seen. The steak was simply a poor cut of meat. Breakfast options in the restaurant are poor as most meals come with grease soaked deep fried potatoes so you have to order a second meal if you want fruit with your protein. I would not eat here in the future.
I have stayed at the Days Inn a few times and have completely enjoyed the experience. My room was very large, with plenty of space and parking right in front of my door. It has a restaurant right on the premises which saved me a lot of time looking for somewhere to eat as I am not familiar with Kenora. There is an awesome pool house on the property however I did not get a chance to use it but may the next time I am there. Réservez une table maintenant
The dining area has been rebuilt after a fire so it is new. It is very well decorated with numerous local artists paintings on display. The breakfast special was very reasonably priced, hot, and well presented. The server was friendly and very efficient as our coffees were continuously topped up. A good experience.
