Hate to write this review but our service was one of the worst I 've ever gotten. Our reservation is at 7pm and didn 't get seated until 7:20pm. We had an older lady who gave us a menu and didn 't come back until 7:50pm. Noted we didn 't get any water or bread while waiting. Finally we put in an order and appetizers did not arrive until 8:15 (30 mins+ . Then entree did not arrive until 9pm. It 's been two hours at this point! We quickly ate and just wanted to get out of there as desserts would prob been another 30 mins. Worst of all, the older lady who I felt bad for, was condescending and rude. She would talk to all other tables and did not check in nor acknowledge us throughout the meal. S...
Came in tonight for my birthday dinner! What an amazing experience!! From the minute we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Tyler and Cameron. Dineen took us promptly to the table and helped us to get comfortable in the lovely booth. Shannon was our server and her service was exceptional. Everything was perfectly timed and we never felt rushed. Our food was just delicious. I had the bacon wrapped filet and paired it with some shrimp scampi. I came for Dine Arcadia Restaurant Week, which is a great time to try the Derby if you haven't been. Lunch or happy hour is also a good option. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, and the food and drinks were great as well. Old fashioned was delish and steak was cooked perfectly. My favorite part about the Derby is that it is like a time capsule back in time, in the best way possible. Classic red booths, fireplaces, red brick, stained glass, lovely bar area, and nods to Arcadia's horse racing history throughout!
My boyfriend and I love coming to the Derby, especially during DineLA. The service is always great (our waitress Heidi was really sweet and attentive) and the food is always on point. We got the crispy brussels sprout that was delicious, bacon wrapped filet mignon that was tender, juicy, and was a perfect medium rare. But what we really came for was their prime rib, which was also perfectly seasoned and so good. If you're near Arcadia, definitely give the Derby a try. You won't regret it.

Amazing old school steak house . The staff here is very professional and the food is perfect! The bar is great and wine list is very approachable. If you want a can't miss old school steakhouse go here!
Food is amazing, service is amazing, and ambience is okd world charm I love this place as the weather changes! They have a wonderful fireplace by the bar and it's very cozy. Highly recommend the Derby!
Always enjoy The Derby! They made our Anniversary very special. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Our filet was perfectly seasoned and cooked. And my Sidecar cocktail was delicious.
Excellent service, fantastic food...Spence was personable and extremely knowledgeable as he helped us navigate the menu. Highly recommend the Derby and we will def be back soon!
