We ordered pizzas, snacks, and drinks, so we did spend a fair amount on our meal. However, when I asked for coffee, a staff member informed us it was only available for restaurant patrons, who need to spend $90 per person and be seated inside. We spent about the same amount outside because the kids wanted to play, and I had my dogs with me.
The same applied to tea. I understand that inflation affects everyone, but it's disappointing that warm drinks can't be served outside during cooler times. The reasoning behind this policy is quite off-putting.
My friend and I visited Down the Rabbit Hole winery yesterday, and we were thoroughly impressed by the incredible service from the staff, especially Jase and Emma. They truly went above and beyond, and we were amazed by their outstanding customer care. The venue itself was fantastic, and the food was excellent—the pizza was the best we’ve ever had! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We can't wait to recommend DTRH to everyone we know who is passing through. Thank you for hosting us; we will definitely be back. As soon as we arrived for our wine tasting and lunch, we were warmly greeted by two lovely gentlemen who guided us to the restored double decker bus for our wine tasting. Jesse guided us through a fun informative tasting of their beautiful wines, the story behind them was so lovely. We then proceeded to the restaurant, WOW, what gorgeous surroundings, fabulous service amazing food. This is a must when visiting Mclaren Vale.
Oh, what an incredible location! It felt like I stepped right into an Instagram picture. I could spend the whole day here. The kids absolutely loved the playground and the bus. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the garden, sitting on the carpets beneath the big swings. The dining table we had for lunch was fantastic!

Highly recommend! I went yesterday with my sister, friend and my 3 children. I have been to many wineries but this was really special , the owners made us feel very welcome and I loved how passionate she was talking about theirs. The wines were amazing, we will be back.
I had my friend from melbourne. that weeps that we wanted to visit. was not available for cellar door. So I've knocked the best rose. this weingut came up. omg the best arvo with the best service. the most beautiful afternoon ever.
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. I really enjoyed the authentic rug-style seating and the calm, cozy atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the wine was decent. It was a great place for a single visit!
