The tall guy working as cashier is very rude disrespectful. He yells at customers has a really bad attitude. We purchased a full chicken family meal he didn’t give us a full breast, he just gave us one half breast he cut that in half then got very angry when we mentioned it to him. He probably used the other breast that we purchased to sell another meal, that’s stealing from food from customers that paid for a full chicken. We also ordered large order of beans the container was mostly full of water hardly any beans, again stealing food from customers not giving us the food that we paid for. We will never go back.
I ordered a whole chicken dinner with medium rice, refried beans, and salsa for $30, and none of the food had any flavor, taste, or spice; it was just bland and flavorless. The guy behind the counter was extremely rude, loud, and disrespectful—certainly not friendly at all.
Moreover, the lobby, restrooms, tables, and floors were dirty and disgusting. There is absolutely no way I would ever return or recommend this place to anyone I care about because it's just not worth it. Save yourself the trouble and your money—don't go. The food was ok, it wasn't too bad but it was flavorless. Personally, I think pollo loco is better. What really made me hate this place was how dirty and uncomfortable the space was. It was really dark in there and there was no place to stand while you wait for your food. I waited 15 min for my food, even though there was no one in line when i got there.
Saw mexi papi on YouTube and had to try it out. It wasn't bad at all I didn't say it was a bad place to eat, but I expected a little more the chicken tasted a little dry. I had the family meal with 1 chicken two sides they included the tortillas and salsa. Salsa is very good, so was the rice. Could live without it, but enjoyed it for what it was.

Brought the family here for breakfast before heading to Disneyland, great food I had the breakfast burrito, and a taco de al pastor everything was good. My son had a quesadilla and he loved it. They had menudo since it was a Sunday but had to try the chicken.Food: 5/5
Today I was the delicious chicken rice and beans not so good but acceptable the nopalitos are very good I will come back for those pumpkin flower and huitlacoche quesadillas
I’m from a place where we have Don Carbon and thought this chicken would be as tasty but it wasn’t. For charbroiled chicken I will stay with Don Carbon.
Really some of the best food around. The chicken is unreal, carne asada and also the lengua tacos are great. My favorite is the wet burrito.
