El Rancho Grande Mexican

I wasnt expecting much coming to this location for a bite. This location for Mexican fare has been here forever, haha. Immediately I was pleasantly surprised that it had been kept up pretty much and seemed they cared more than through some earlier years. The menu has so many typical choices along with some specialties that I hadn't seen at other places. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive, and the food was tasty and fresh! Will go back in the near future.

The restaurant was uncomfortably warm, causing us to end our birthday celebration early. We would have liked to stay longer and spend more money, but the service was the worst we have ever experienced. None of the staff spoke to us and seemed to avoid our table. We had to get up several times to ask for refills. The food was mediocre. We have no plans to return to this establishment. Also, I didn't notice any redeeming qualities.

This is a great place to enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine. I tried the pastor tacos and they were delicious. The salsa was a bit mild for my taste, more like spaghetti sauce, but the chips were tasty and they kept refilling the basket when it was running low. The margaritas were a great deal, very large and tasty.
