Freebirds World Burrito Earl Rudder Fwy

I HADN'T HAD FREEBIRDS IN YEARS AND DECIDED TO PICK UP DINNER FROM THERE TONIGHT. I ORDERED A LARGE QUESO AND A MONSTER BURRITO. MY BURRITO WAS ESPECIALLY GOOD. IF YOU GO TO FREEBIRDS IN COLLEGE STATION TEXAS NEXT CHEDDAR'S AND OLIVE GARDEN, I RECOMMEND MR. CHASE MAKING YOUR BURRITO. NOW THE QUESO, LET'S JUST SAY IT LEFT SOMETHING TO BE DESIRED. IT TASTED LIKE CHEESE WHIZ MIXED WITH WOLF BRAND CHILI. A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MANAGER EMILY AND MR. CHASE FOR THEIR KINDNESS AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This place is like going to a Chipotle or QDoba but not as tasty and I am not a fan of either of those. The meat was fatty the burrito was mostly a bland cilantro lime rice that was more like white rice with parsley. The chips and queso were decent but I feel like the cheese had too much chipotle seasoning in it. However, spending $25 for 1 person to eat is definitely NOT worth it.

This was my first time into a Freebirds restaurant ever. The staff were very helpful in explaining how to place an order and I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl with chicken and pork topped with habanero, creamy jalapeno, cheese and tortilla strips!

You can't beat the O.G. as far as Monster size burritos and fresh ingredients. Bring back the Super Monster!!
