they will not be disappointed by a visit in the golden oak. we had waited for 10 minutes for a table because the place was packed, but that is in the rule a great note for a good meal. our server was sweet and punctual. I tried the 3 egg-garden omelet that has tomato, mushrooms, zucchini, spinach, green pfeffer, cheese and wobbles, and it was delicious. it came with the option of pancakes or toast, and I chose pancakes. excellent choice. and the option of hash brew or fresh fruit, and I am glad that I have chosen the hash brews. everyone on our table was full and happy. my son told me that his speck was perfectly cooked, which is a compliment that I only received from him when I make his bre...
we were looking for a good Sunday morning breakfast place, and golden oak pancake house was exactly what we wanted. it was quite busy, but he dining room is quite large and sits many people. we had just left another breakfast place not far away because the weight was too long. when we came to golden oak, despite the number of people there we waited only 5 to 10 minutes. additionally, the service is extremely fast. because they were so busy, they were very attentive, and it didn't take long until we had our food, and eating is absolutely wonderful. really great diner style breakfast. first-class breakfast connection!
If you're looking for a reliable, unpretentious, delicious breakfast in the St. Louis Metro East area, look no further. There are a lot of chains around here and there is nothing wrong with that, but there is something about the charm of a family owned place that I can't resist. I've had a couple of meals here and they've all been so good. I personally love the omelets, as they offer a variety of veggies and meats that you can add. This place will warm your heart and fill your belly--definitely check it out!
My family and I love coming here for breakfast. We always recommend this place to friends and other family too. It’s clean, and the staff is always friendly. We have never had a bad experience yet, and even when they are busy with every seat filled. The food is always so good, and fills you right up. Truly a good local breakfast place. Words cannot express!! All I can say is that we love coming here and the breakfast is so delicious and always more than I can eat. They always make you feel like family and the meals are definitely home cooked and made with love. When you walk in there is never a seat in the house, but they get you seated quickly.
Been there twice and both times it was very busy but we were seated within seconds. Service was great, food was excellent and nice and hot! Eggs were made exactly as requested! My husband ordered the Irish skillet and I ordered south of the border skillet. Definitely our new favorite breakfast place!

A nice home style diner with a lot of seating so it's not super small or cramped. I really enjoyed our waitress, I wish I could recall her name but she wears a rhinestone covered mask. She was excellent and the whole table agreed. I would recommend! Réservez une table maintenant
