Small (seats about 10), but cozy. But big on service! I was a late dine-in customer, near the advertised 9 PM closing. No problem, as if the first one for the evening, whichnInwas not as there were still lots of take aways completed. Licienced with a suitable range and very reasonable pricez!! Small but satisfactory menu choicez, entree and mains wi th additional boiled rice. Not particularly large portions but average. Enjoyed it.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its use of fresh ingredients, minimal oil in their cooking, and accommodating staff who are happy to fulfill requests. It's a breath of fresh air to find a place that doesn't use MSG or food colorings (which I am allergic to). I will definitely be coming back soon!

We have had take-away several times it's always been lovely. Fresh ingredients and flavours. My husband is a real foodie who travels to Asia regularly and knows his Asian food he's hard to please and he raves about it. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend.

Authentic Chinese comes to Bayside. Really fresh ingredients, not oily or filled with MSG; the only authentic Chinese restaurant Bayside. Well priced and tasty food. I regularly get take out from here and have never been disappointed. Réservez une table maintenant

As first timers to Hermit House, it was delicious! San Choi Bow, Chinese mushroom and chicken soup, Chilli Beef and Special Fried Rice all very clean (not oily or unhealthy) and tasty. will definitely be ordering from there again.

I highly recommend Hermit House. Last Friday, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch there. The food was fresh, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. It was a great value for the money, and I will definitely be returning.

This charming restaurant offers delicious food and excellent service. With no complicated dishes and no issues, it's become one of my go-to spots in the area. Their garlic prawns are absolutely incredible and a must-try!

Recommended for great value take away. My wife and I have been ordering food here for over a year and keep going back. I love their take on Singapore noodles and my wife loves their fresh and simple vegetarian dishes. Réservez une table maintenant

This is literally the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Didn't know this cuisine could be so taste free.
