In 2012, we visited the popular Hotcakes restaurant where we enjoyed their delicious homemade tamale corn cakes made with frozen corn, black beans, and cumin, topped with melted cheddar cheese. They were served with salsa and sour cream, and I eagerly looked forward to enjoying them as a weekly treat. My husband had his own favorite dishes at this small, charming restaurant owned by a lovely lady. Although it's been some time since our visit, I wish I could still enjoy the vegetarian options on their menu if they were still around.
The food is really subpar. The quality is low. The adult grilled cheese is probably the wimpiest sandwich I have ever seen and it is served with lays ridge chips. Blah. My chicken salad wrap was okay, again served with the plain chips. The kale salad looks unappetizing and pretty bland. The waitress acted like waiting tables is just a bother and I am so sick of poor attitudes of those in the service industry. Don’t bother coming here.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Food is barely edible and extremely overpriced for the small portions they give you. They get confused when you ask them for real butter because they don't have any. They do not accept credit or debit cards, it is cash only. I do not understand how this place did not go out of business years ago. The owners should be ashamed of themselves.
Cash only spot. Luckily I had it otherwise would have had to run to Chase around the corner with a toddler. No sign or anything to let people know of this. Overpriced for what you get. Veggie omelet had no flavor at all. The only reason why I decided to go here was because Walker Bros. line was too long. Probably won't come back here.

AFTER eating they point to a small 3x5 Card on top of the register 30 feet away that apparently says “CASH ONLY”. How do restaurants get away with this which allows them to under-report income and thus pay less taxes? Food not worth going back for nor do I recommend this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant is excellent! I particularly enjoyed the potatoes, omelette, and pancakes. Overall, everything was really good. I will definitely be returning for more. They have a good variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
It is important to give 1-star reviews to businesses that only accept cash as a form of payment. My time and lunch break were wasted, and I will not forgive this establishment or remove my review.
The food is ok,tuna sandwich is good, atmosphere is superb! The only downside is they only accept cash, so i need to run to the bank accross the street before having my hotcakes.

My favorite breakfast place and they have the best pancakes. I have been going there for many years, the food is always good with friendly staff.
