This cozy, community-oriented sub shop has been a staple in Bellwood for generations and is primarily family-run. During my visit, I noticed three generations actively working in the store. The Italian sub I ordered was decent, though not particularly memorable. The space was clean, but somewhat dated, which is to be expected in a small rural town. The service was excellent, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the owners knew the names of about 80% of their regular customers.
You can't find a better hoagie. The combination and Italian are my go to choice's. Huge portions on their curly fries and you can feed 2-3 people. I always get a cup of nacho cheese to dip them in. Great breakfast as well. You will always catch the same group of guys in the same seats.
My wife has searched for the last 12 years or so for the best hogie/sub in the lands. It turns out that they were from my hometown all along. Excellent subs. They even have a huge xl size. And for the quality of the product the price is totally right.
The best cheesesteak I've had in ages! I really enjoyed the cozy vibe of the city and will definitely come back whenever I can. Réservez une table maintenant
Houser Subs are hands down the best subs we've ever had. We actually drive 30 miles just to enjoy them!
