Icons Brasserie - Marriott Sydney Harbour

Head into the Marriott, walk through Silvesters and take the staircase down to the left and you get to this hole-in-the-wall cafe. A nice quiet retreat by day (I had breakfast of Ocean Trout Tataki and a couple of great strong lattes!) it turns into a bar at night. Given it was winter, there were no diners outside but in summer I imagine it would be great to dine alfresco in the lane way.

Everything about our dinning experience was amazing. The service was first class, all the the food we tried was amazing and portion sizes were very generous considering it's fine dining. A great menu offering top class produce that Exec chef Raphael has masterfully designed. A place we will definitely go back to to try what we couldn't this time.

Same type of Australian hotel Buffett restaurant. Nothing out of the ordinary and a standard selection, service was friendly, food was okay. You won't be disappointed and you won't be wowed.
