I stumbled upon this place while working as a delivery driver and decided to grab a pie and a sausage roll since I was a bit hungry. I wasn't expecting much, but as a person in my 60s who has eaten countless pies and sausage rolls over the years, I can confidently say I've never had better. The sausage roll was incredibly delicious—melt-in-your-mouth good, with fantastic pastry and a flavorful, moist filling. The pie was just as impressive: a generous portion of meat encased in a crunchy yet soft pastry that also melts in your mouth. Been going here for yrs and it's quality has gone really bad. I once ordered a pie and it had metal shavings in the meat. I took it back and kept it discrete and was told later on that they did tests saying nothing like that should be in there product. Pies would be good if it was cooked longer. I complained about it and a staff member told me to call th company, um don't you work for the company why should I have to call? After 14 yrs of going here I will never come back. It seems that you only get back to good reviews but lost for words when someone complains
I bought mini quiches and mini butter chicken pies from a local Italian grocer. They were slightly more expensive than if I had bought them directly from the store, but the quality of the food was exceptional. I will definitely be a repeat customer and would recommend it to my family and friends. My only minor complaint is that only 1 out of the 6 butter chicken mini pies had chicken pieces in it. I would prefer not to pay for pies filled only with sauce. Meal type: Dinner.
The sausage meat pie had a decent taste, but it was mostly gravy with very few pieces of sausage—I only found one. It definitely doesn't contain the 32% meat as claimed on the packaging. This feels like false advertising or poor quality control. I purchased it from Leo's in Camberwell for a quick lunch, and it was quite disappointing. Réservez une table maintenant
Great pies, especially the pasties! However, I won’t be ordering again. The box was clearly labeled as "Store Frozen," but it was left at the gate in the sun. To make matters worse, the driver didn’t even ring the doorbell to let me know they had arrived. Service: Delivery.
