Went for xmas day as we have done for the last 5 years ,its normally lovely but this year was awful waited an hour for starter the, had to clear the plates ourselves after waiting over half an hour, had to ask about main course the que for carvery was a very long wait, carvery area was filthy, chef miserable and sarcastic. Main plates was not cleared away the whole time we were there ,then had to ask for pudding which took ages we had this to take away as children were restless, was offered coffee and mince pie which they brought out 3 for the 9 of us . I had a fantastic breakfast experience at this restaurant. The food was continuously refreshed, ensuring everything was fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our satisfaction throughout the meal. My daughter wanted to take home some cake, and the staff member brought it to our table, ensuring we were happy. Two staff members, including one named Jo, were exceptionally hospitable. I wish I had gotten the other staff member's name. They went above and beyond to make us feel like regular customers. I will definitely be returning for another breakfast and carvery.
expected not much of a place, only went because I saw an all-day breakfast as I drove past. oh my gott I was absolutely excited about the whole setup! eat absolutely delicious and what a monster also. personal, super friendly and attentive with need. price, absolutely incredible value for money. diversity, also absolutely incredible. in any case a hidden gem in a simple look. same time next week people!
came to lunch today. the food was so good! the portions are huge! the woman behind the bar that was so beautiful and accommodating and nothing was too much annoyed. the man who bought our food on our table, I think his name was also very friendly. many thanks for a really nice lunch, we will be back soon.

The experience at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The management is great and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time. The atmosphere is fantastic and the cakes are a must-try; they are absolutely beautiful and an experience in themselves.
As usual, 5 stars all round. From the welcome to the carvery, to the cake, everything is excellent! It's still the best place anywhere for a meal. We have tried other carveries for a lot more money but nothing comes close to larchwood. Keep up the good work!
