**What I Liked** - **Quality**: The broths were flavorful and well-seasoned without being overly salty. All the dishes we ordered were fresh, especially the vegetables. The meats were pre-frozen, which isn't necessarily a drawback since they’re cooked right at the table. - **Menu Variety**: There’s something for everyone—meats, seafood, vegetables, and options for vegans. You have to order specific dishes from a broad selection, which includes enoki mushrooms, fish tofu, lobster balls, bok choy, lotus root, winter melon, daikon, chicken, Angus steak, and more. This setup helps reduce food waste compared to a buffet style. They also have a sauce bar with a range of sauces like soy sauce, ga...

First time here and last time ever coming back. I came here for my daughter 16th birthday and it was 4 of us she was supposed to eat for free but they was on one first the waitress was in a rush trying to get us to order fast mind you I never been here so I was so confused and when we asked about my daughter being free for her birthday they asked for a ID clearly you can see she was a young girl but ok I was just like forget it. I ended up not eating because I didn't get no type of explanation on the choses. My daughter ordered sushi and it came out wrong so basically we paid 30 for only 6 pieces of sushi because the order was wrong. So my daughter was eating and another water came pass sayi...

First time here and had a great experience. If you've never had hot pot, it's a communal cooking pot which you select ingredients to cook in a selection of soup base(s). They had a wide range of soup bases, meats, vegetables, specials. It's well priced for the quality you're getting. They don't have much in terms of desserts, but then you won't have room for it since it's all you can eat. They also have sushi offerings, but if you came for hot pot.... get hot pot. Recommend coming early since it looks like it can be busy. Servers were very attentive, lots of space too.Vegetarian options: Very easy to assemble a sumptuous vegetarian meal.Dietary restrictions: Very easy to assemble a gluten fr...

Overall, I enjoyed going to this restaurant as it was my first experience going to a hot pot dining establishment. I most particularly enjoyed the unlimited sushi, which is a $5 additional charge per person to the hot pot pricing. I didn't enjoy the hot pot experience itself that much as I didn't feel that the broth that was cooking the other food items in was the most flavorful, but perhaps that was just what I selected, but otherwise, the establishment and service are both very nice and there is a wide range of meats, vegetables and other carbohydrate options to select from on their venue.Parking: The parking is located at the rear of the building and what seems to be parking that is for b... I visited this restaurant while on vacation in D.C., and we intentionally went out of our way to get there! The staff treated us exceptionally well, the service was prompt, and the food was absolutely delicious. The price was also fantastic—five of us dined for around $150. The noodle portions are quite generous, so I recommend sharing one order! We didn't realize this and ended up with a lot of extra noodles that we did our best to finish. A big thank you to the staff for being so understanding and not charging us for the food waste, even though we would have been happy to pay for it since we struggled to finish the noodles we ordered. When we come back to D.C., we'll definitely return!

I took my daughter and close family to this restaurant because she was really craving hot pot. We were looking for a nice place that could accommodate a party of 12, and they did a fantastic job! They managed to arrange tables for us, and even had a robot that sang happy birthday, which made my daughter so happy! It turned out to be a wonderful day!

This has been my favorite hot pot place for about a year now. Everything is very clean, quick, and tasty! I recommend coming on the weekdays as it is much cheaper! Another tip: pay with cash! They give a 10% discount to those who pay with cash, making hot pot a much affordable meal! I would definitely recommend trying out La Tao!

Parking in back is free. The food was unlimited and the ambiance with awesome. The staff was attentive and the meal came together the way I made it it with a sauce bar on the side to create your own flavors. Hotpot buffet is a new thing for me. I would highly suggest this spot if you like hot pots. It's in college park. Réservez une table maintenant

Amazing place. I am a monthly regular and sometimes even go twice a month. The waiters are very attentive and the process is super efficient. And if you have the space, there's bubble tea next door! Can't vouch for them though, haven't experienced having space after eating at LaTao yet. It's that good!
