We’ve stayed in Chinon for the past 5 years or so about 100m from this place and every year it has been completely full. So this year, we remembered to reserve a table a few months ahead, and it was very much worth the effort. Superb food and presentation and the staff also have an excellent knowledge of the various local wines. Highly recommended. In season you really do need to have reserved in advance.
