Worst customer service and staff has no empathy. Had to unfortunately cancel our reservation as our cruise ship was no longer stopping in Adelaide due to bad weather. We called the restaurant as soon as we were aware that we were unable to attend providing 46hrs of notice. However due to their policy of 48hr notice they would not allow us to cancel without charging the cancellation fee. They noted that we were charged as they had already started preparing for our reservation (obviously not fresh food if they are preparing it 46hrs in advance! and the only thing they would say was they had a 48hr policy. We cancelled as soon as we were aware that we were no longer able to make the reservation...

An exceptional fine dining experience from beginning to end. Hats off to the chefs for taste, quality ingredients and specifically the presentation. We also opted for the wine pairing with our degustation. The wine pairings went well with our meals, however we would’ve loved to learn more about the history and tasting notes. Unfortunately due to restrictions being implemented the night before our visit and not to cancel guests bookings, all seatings were reduced to 2 hours with a reduced menu. As a result, we were more tipsy than full by the end of the meal but understandably, Maxwell did what they could given the circumstances. We definitely are keen to go back for the full experience.

They insisted their cancellation policy requires 48 hours notice otherwise they take your money. They insist that they have so much to prepare ahead of time that they can't refund me ... HOW MUCH PREP CAN THEY DO IN 2 HRS!!I usually love supporting good local businesses but Maxwell Wines Restaurant are more interested in lining their pockets with our money.

Absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and welcoming, thanks to the wonderful staff. The location is beautiful, making it a great spot for dining. Each dish was a delightful surprise and a true work of art. I've never taken my time eating so slowly just to savor every moment. The chefs are absolute geniuses! This place is truly special. I've been there twice and can't wait to return. I would love to mention the names of the staff to sing their praises. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!
I enjoyed the tasting menu on a Sunday afternoon, and the dining room featured stunning windows with views of the vineyard. I was thoroughly impressed by all the dishes; my favorites were the chicken, the doughnut, and the desserts. The desserts were light and fresh, providing a perfect conclusion to a delightful lunch. This charming place features lovely modern décor, excellent service, and a friendly, professional staff. You couldn't ask for a better combination of positive elements. We visited for a wine tasting, and it was an outstanding experience. I can't wait to try the food at the restaurant on our next visit!

OMG, it was one of the best lunches we've had! The food, the ambiance, and the staff were all amazing. Overall, it was a perfect 10/10 experience. We'll definitely be coming back!
Did the Mead tasting with petit fours. Very enjoyable. Had to do the hedge maze to sober up.
