Popped in on Easter Sunday to grab some lunch. I ordered a spinach and sweet potato slice, my partner had a premium pasty and we ordered a quiche lorraine to take away for dinner.All items we delicious. I especially loved the soft flaky pastry on my slice. I believe it was wholemeal, it had so much flavour. The quiche was soft and cheesy with a lovely pastry crust. 10 mins in the oven and it was like it was freshly baked.
Stopped in for a quick pie on fly and was pleasantly surprised. Had a delicious steak pie made with a Shiraz from one of the local wineries. Great pastry and a real homemade filling. Not exactly a quaint setting next to the supermarket but the food certainly ticks all the boxes.
We just stumbled across this bakery while looking at shops in Mclarenvale. We were impressed by the broad range of pies and pasties, and decided on a Cornish pastie each. Best Cornish we have ever eaten, well presented, free sauce, very pleasant staff. Highly recomended!
I selected this bakery on reviews. I ordered a large red velvet birthday cake with fresh cream and berries. They didn't disappoint it was so moist and delicious. Staff were also very helpful. I would definitely order from here again. Pricing was reasonable as well. Réservez une table maintenant
Twice a year, we'll have a little weekend getaway to the McLaren Vale region to stock up on our favourite foods/drinks. The pies are a highlight of our visit and popular with both kids and adults (including overseas visitors). We loved the chicken leek
Stopped for lunch with our two dogs, we had two lovely tasty toasted rolls, and the dogs were given some roast beef. Staff couldn't have been friendlier, and the food was really good, so was the coffee. Thank you Mclaren Vale bakery
Had a very nice steak and Shiraz pie which was great value and well made. Seems as if they have won many awards judging by the certificates on the walls and I can now see why. Not for the views but it's all about the great food.
Just felt like having a pasty for lunch, so visited this bakery. The pasty was very tasty but found the staff unfriendly and not interested. Réservez une table maintenant
All I can say is great food at great prices. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. Enjoyed going there and buying some bread etc.
