Mo-mo-paradise Arcadia

This was my first time visiting Momo Paradise. We had a reservation at 8PM and were running late, but they still gladly seated us as soon as possible. We got seated right away and since it was my first time, I asked for recommendations from the server and he provided me with the different options tailoring to what I wanted. My friends and I got the tonkatsu and tomato soup base. But I didn't really enjoy the tomato soup base and they gladly switched it out for us! The food bar was a smaller selection than what I was used to for an AYCE shabu, but the quality was good and the bar area was kept clean. They also had a self serve drink bar, which had variety of different drinks. I enjoyed the Jasmine milk tea the most. Overall, a great dining experience with amazing service!

Very disappointed today. We made a reservation for 4 people for 5:30pm Sunday dinner. Early enough you would think? We were placed at a table with only 1 stove. When i expressed that we needed 2 stoves between us- we were told that it was reserved for larger parties on busy nights. So, why make a reservation when you can't get a proper table? I'm not about sharing saliva with others. Family or not. They should respect their customers preference. When I asked to speak with a manager, the original host stuck a trainee on me. It's fine, we left as I didn't want to waste any more energy. We've been here a few times and never experienced any seating issues with my reservations. MoMo Paradise- you need to do better.

I made a reservation for 4 people three days ago, 9/4 6:30pm, and when I arrived at the restaurant at 6:15 tonight, the waiter actually asked us to share a pot for 4 people. I would like to ask him why we can't use two pots when there are 4 people next to him? They said they would reserve it for 5 guests, which is really unreasonable. It's so annoying. The 5 guests didn't come, and the 4 guests weren't allowed to sit. They had to wait for two hours. Is there any justice? Even 1 star is too much.

Initially was told weekends are reservation only and we couldn't wait we were turned away. Called multiple times but no answer. So went on a Tuesday night and was told again reservation only for walk in it was an hour wait time. They said that they are short staffed again and won't be able to get to use quickly anyways. Half the restaurant was empty a couple of tables still had chairs stacked on the table. If you decide to come call and make a reservation and hope they pick up the phone

This place is not clean. At the buffet bar, there's always something on the plates... I had to change multiple plates to find a clean one. Meat is pretty good and tender! Their sauce Ponzu is very sour which is different from other places.
