I would give Moore Park View Hotel five stars for their gourmet pub food. The lamb rump is cooked perfectly and worth every penny. I have tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. As a picky eater, this food satisfies me completely. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, with great prices and a friendly staff. Despite living a 2-hour drive away, I gladly make the trip just for the food. The chef always checks in to ensure the food meets your liking, showing their passion for the cuisine. Long time between drinks. Around forty years ago I used to have a few beers here after night shift as it was a 'early opener '. In Sydney visiting family and they suggest dinner here based on positive Urbanspoon reviews. We park down the next block only to find a carpark behind the beer garden, good to know for next time. Big changes, not sure when it was renovated. The Scotch Fillets were cooked to perfection. My Veal Fungi was just first class, the sauce just divine. Lamb shanks fell of the bone. I've walked past here many times and never thought to come in until today when we just wanted someplace new and local. Glad we did! Excellent food. Opted for the grilled haloumni with pine nuts and pesto dressing. Gorgeous! Also got the lamb meatballs with tzatziki...delicious. My partner got the scotch fillet which was cooked to perfection and deliciously tender. My friend got the lamb curry...tasted it and again, delicious! Couldn't fault a thing other than the veggie portion sizes were super small which makes a difference if you're not earing carbs. Otherwise....perfect. Super reasonably priced which is always a bonus. I lived in the are for a while now and last night was the first night I went there for a beer and dinner with my mate. I have to say MPVH forgive me for not visiting before. How great everything was. So lovely inside. Girls at the bar fantastic ,with the smile. Food was amazing. I love your Monday night Chicken Parmigiana special with the Mexican twist . Mate had delicious Salmon. We are definitely coming back to visit very soon and over and over again
