I ordered macaroni and cheese along with a hot sandwich for delivery. I realize that food can taste different when delivered compared to dining in, but the sandwich arrived unwrapped, which meant it was cold by the time it got to me. Frankly, it was so small that it felt hardly worth it at all. I’d much prefer to spend a few extra dollars on a hearty deli sandwich rather than this meager offering. I definitely won’t be ordering from this place again. To make matters worse, the potato chips were soggy, so overall, it was a disappointing experience.
So far- had the steak sandwich combo and the Reuben combo. Both were delicious. Bread is on point. Steak fries are great. Comes with a huge beverage for $11 or $12, depending on what you get. When I go to a place, I ask what 's the best? What 's most popular? What do you recommend? and I often get that. Not every place cooks every dish to the same level. They have their specialties. Identify those and you rarely go wrong.
I’m not sure what the issue is with the staff here. During my visits, I felt unwelcome and as if I was bothering them just by trying to place an order. It’s perplexing to operate a restaurant if you’re not interested in serving customers. On top of that, the food isn’t great either. I would recommend avoiding this place, as it seems they don’t like having customers.
As a long-standing local business in College Park since 1938, we've been ordering from here for many years and we've never been let down by the food or the service. First time I went here was 35 years ago. Recently went there and the new owners had not changed the atmosphere one bit…which is great! This is what you want from an established deli. Oh, the food and service were top. Please, don’t change!
Little local NY style sandwich shop in the Hollywood neighborhood in College Park. Food and friendly service are consistently good. The atmosphere is what you might expect from a local pizza shop.
Still looking for a good Reuben sandwich. Service good. Will try them again for other sandwiches.
Prices still the same after all these years and food is always amazing!!!!
