Nobles Cafe Bar Restaurant

Great service: friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, though the Cullen skunk was odd. A pool of slightly flavourless liquid with some fish in the centre: not terrible, but wouldn’t order again. Haddock and chips was excellent, but the aioli on the burger was unnecessary. Overall, a cosy pub with good food and drink and great staff.

For pub grub it was fair. I had the pork burger. The burger roll was not the best and the burger did not fill it. Partner had the risotto. The cod was well cooked. We also shared a cheese board which was stingy with 3 thin slithers of fairly flavourless cheeses. Will try somewhere else in future.

We went for Sunday brunch. Pancakes with yogurt and fruit and eggs florentine. The food was all great. Just the right amount of everything. Only down side was our order seemed to take a long time to reach us.

The pancakes are delicious and look exactly like they do on the photos. Great, friendly service once again. The decor in Nobles is fab too.
