sorry but one of the worst meals we have had. first i dont understand why it is called the nudgee beach hotel it isnt in nudgee beach the decor makes it look like we were in something from the 70's. dont like how you have to past all the smokers outside to get in. the staff are friendly. took ages for our meals to come and we were ok with that as in this day and age with staff off with covid. our meals came out and i was so surprised by the size and the money we paid for them i couldnt help to say something. the meal didnt taste like anything it was so bland and not much of it either. the gravy was the worst packet mix ive tasted i asked the waiter and he told me it was packet mixture for $3...
Go here quite a lot as it's pretty local to where we live and has improved massively since the new manager came in and tidied the place up. Can't beat the lunchtime specials. Steaks and pulled pork nachos are amazing. $5 for a pint of gold is awesome as well. Have had dinner here several times and highly recommend the pork belly, it's great. They do awesome kids meals also with a juice and ice cream as well as a big meal. Highly recommend this place for couples and families. Have lots of specials each night.
Typical pub meals if you like that sort of thing. I had the top of the line Porterhouse steak ($27) which was advertised as 'melt in your mouth'. Far from it. It was overcooked and fairly tough. A complaint seemed to go nowhere. Other meals (rissoles, Parmigiana, burgers) were quite good. Deserts were just OK. Have had much better elsewhere. Service was friendly. May go back, but will not go for the supposedly great expensive meals.
I traveled from another state and had been looking into local restaurants to try. Although a bit off the beaten path, this place turned out to be a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly attentive and the food was delicious. We even had some luck with Keno! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it.

We had lunch and drinks for a group of 6 and were well taken care of. There was also a large group of 19 at a nearby table, along with smaller groups of 2, 3, and 4. The restaurant is a tastefully refurbished suburban pub from the 1970s. The service was good and the food was great.
It's an okay place, not much there as it's mostly industrial. There is the beach hotel and a few shops, plus the service centre which has a big petrol station plus a few fast food shops eg Maccas red rooster sushi and a cafe etc
The place is just ok. not much around this area, with relaxing atmosphere. normal pub food, service is good.got some pokie machine there that can kill time while waiting for meal, they left out my topper the other night.

First I must say, I am far from an expert golfer, in fact I think I can count on both my hands how many times I"ve played and still have a few fingers left
Much improved from the Olden Days. Staff are efficient and friendly and food is fresh, well delivered and tasty pub grub.
