The waitress came and asked us if we’d decided what we wanted before she even told us what the special was. My friend chose the spaghetti with meatballs and I chose the special which was Short rib ragu over “creamy polenta” with steamed veggies alongside. She said the spaghetti and meatballs was “o.k.”; not a ringing endorsement. She left almost half of it. I chose the special and was not pleased with it. The creamy polenta was chunks of polenta. Not creamy at all. The veggies had no flavor and little color. I also left almost half of my meal. The atmosphere is cold. A room with high ceilings, little decoration and noisy. Not warm and welcoming at all. More like a university dining hall, but...
Nunzio's is one of my friends' and my absolute favorite restaurants in the Morristown area! From the moment you walk through the door, they make you feel like family. Each visit not only offers AMAZING food (the Chicken di Casa is a must-try) but also a wonderful atmosphere that makes for a lovely time. It’s the perfect spot for BYOB, delicious Italian cuisine, and great memories!
We were pleasantly surprised to discover that this restaurant wasn't crowded on a Friday night, which is surprising because it definitely deserves more patrons. The portions are generous, the appetizers are excellent, and the cooking is creative. While the entrée prices might be a couple of dollars higher than some other places, they are absolutely worth it.
Nunzios is one of my friends and I am absolutely popular restaurant in the area of Morristown! You feel like family in the second you go through the door, and each time we not only have AMAZING food (the Chicken di Casa is for dying), but also have such a nice time only in the area. Perfect place for BYOB, delicious Italian food and good times.

The food was disappointing. My son ordered the prosciutto caprese salad, which was served on soggy toast—an odd choice. The butter for our bread was frozen solid when it arrived, and when we requested a softer option, it seemed they just microwaved it since it was still icy in the middle.
Food was meh. My son ordered the Prosciutto-Cuprese salad that came to Soggy Toast. That was weird. Butter for our bread was frozen directly from the freezer and when we were softer, they clearly only microwaves it and brought it back bc was still frozen in the middle.
We were very pleasantly surprised that this Resataurant was not overcrowded on a Friday night... it should be. Large portions, without appetizers, creative cooking. Entree prices may be on a few dollars higher than some places, but it is worth it.
Dinner was fantastic. Mussels in white sauce best broth I ever had. Grilled bronzino with roasted Brussels sprouts and black rice. All flavored perfectly. Will definitely return.
