post brunch, pre-tail snack this is not the kind of place where I normally gravite, but the football matches are just starting so that the noise level is still a little low. immediately greets and an ok given to sit on the big bar. I was at a church women 's conference in Birmingham tonight which ended late and the group I was with was hungry. I knew that Paramount was open late (although I had never been there past 8pm) so I suggested we go there. We walked from the BJCC and learned when we got there that it was 21+ after 10pm and we had 3 minors in our party. Nothing else I knew of was open so we were going to get food to go and take it back to our hotel. The staff did better! The adults were seated on the patio and the minors were given stools out by the wall on the sidewalk where their 'to go ' orders were served. We ate and had a great time! The entire staff was tight and very service-oriented. A diverse amount everyone was kind. Drinks were excellent. Definitely a place to go alone when you choose and great to hang with friends. You have to look at the room.

One of the best bars in Birmimgham. Very good food, great beer selection and cool atmosphere. Definitely 5 star.
