Hearty, interesting, home style Persian comfort food. They have moved to a new location next to Pyrmont wharf, quiet but relaxing outdoor seating and a very festive, warm interior complete with Persian crockery, tea and Rosewater. We shared everything and had a great time trying all these new flavours. The 4 hour slow cooked eggplant was a standout, smokey, creamy a bit spicy from the garlic and a bit of crunch from the walnuts. We went there on A Saturday night with a group of friends.  The place was very busy which is always a good sign. Myself and 3 friends ordered the banquet for $50 pp,  the rest ordered ala carte.  The food came fast and was very nice.  I wouldnt say we were stuffed by the amount of food from the banquet but we were certainly not hungry.  The kebabs the others ordered were generous portions, so much so that one of my friends took a doggy bag home for her kids meals the next night.  The food was pleasant and interesting.  I particularly liked the chicken with wanut and pomegranate.  The baklava was served warm which was a nice change and it was not t...

A 5 minute walk from the casino. Come for Lunch,no lunch specials by the way. It is smaller than expected with a indoor/outdoor area. They served rose water instead of tap water,nice touch! Food wise, the kufteh is basically a giant meatball. It was nice but a little salty. Tried the gormeh sabzi stew which I liked and recommend. But the kidney bean flavour was the main taste from the stew,the lamb shank in it was a little smaller than expected but so was the dish. Came here during my trip to Sydney. Heard a fair bit about them before. There are pros and cons. Staff are friendly and nice, but they did forget that if you bring water bottle you need to bring glass as well.  But I did feel at home with their customer service so not a big worry. For the food itself I paid around 50 bucks for Kebab, Shirazi Salad, Shallot yogurt and dough. Dough was very nice but it has saffron like taste, salad was average again with saffron taste!? yogurt was nice but seriously small for the price (rip off). Rice was not great and the color suggested that there was not much Saffron used and it was color (too dark to be saffron). Kebab itself was good. Might come agai...

We were there with bunch of friends, ordered a king sized platter (if I remember the name correctly). Asked for salt & pepper, they told us we are closing soon and you'd better hurry! My wife mentioned this as a comment under one of their Facebook ads, asking them to deal with customers with respect, then posting an ad. They told her in response that you were heaps of people that night and only ordered 1 platter, if you don't have enough money, it's best going to McDonalds!

I was lucky enough to have the owner Maryam visit my table and had a laugh about the time i accidentally got deported to Spain when i was backpacking through Europe. I had the mixed kebab platter and some workmates sampled the lunch menu they offer with the friendly chef customising certain dishes to our table's pallette. Réservez une table maintenant

Decoration is really nice and staff was friendly. There are plenty of choices on the menu. Good for a weekday lunch or weekend gathering with friends near the wharf.
