Yesterdays pickup at the bethlehem location was not good! 5 bowls ordered through the app, 2 were incorrectly made. Ordered a Nutella Coconut Bowl with half acai base, however the 1/2 acai was not done. The other incorrect order was remove banana and add mango. No mango and a lot of banana (for a person that does not like banana and therefore did not touch the bowl). I should not have to, however will be more careful to check the bowls before leaving and never leave a tip in the app!
The bowl was overwhelmingly sweet, with all the fruit drenched in sugar water. The açaí base contained both sugar and stevia extract, and since I'm allergic to stevia, my throat began to swell up. I had to inquire with the staff, as I wasn't aware that stevia was included. Overall, it was quite disappointing, and the quality has really declined. I won’t be returning. However, I do want to note that the staff were friendly and honest; it's not their fault.
In general, the restaurant is helpful for identifying vegan options, but the menu items are repetitive and lacking originality. While the food was decent, I could easily recreate it at home for a lower cost. Unfortunately, the granola is not suitable for vegans.
Playa Bowls is simply amazing- and the Southside location is just perfect. Friendly staff and high quality. Their green power bowls are my favorite! Whether you get it to go or choose to sit inside, you won't regret it. Réservez une table maintenant
This place has a really cool and aesthetic vibe. There are plenty of options for bowls and smoothies, all made with high-quality ingredients! The coffee is excellent too, featuring New Orleans chicory coffee.
Ana prepared my smoothie order with great care and professionalism, ensuring it was made exactly as I requested. She was also very kind throughout the process.
I enjoyed their poke bowl options from last year. However, I found the smoothie bowls to be a little too sweet for my taste.
Everything looks amazing! I love all the vibrant colors, and the fruits appear so fresh. I just wish it weren't so pricey. Réservez une table maintenant
