I like Popeyes just as much as the next person to the point that a I’ve paid for the overpriced food, but I do not agree with the penny pinching that takes place here. My coworkers and I used to get lunch here often but the fees have taken our desire to do business from us. I paid for 14 pieces of chicken and 2 sides and they gave only one sauce with the order. They said they had to charge for each additional sauce. I will be giving my money to Mid-Atlantic (serving sizes reasonable for the price you pay and the food tastes great) and other fast food merchants in the shopping center behind this place since the penny pinching has gotten out of control. Misael- the manager not only let someone cut the line, but as I was placing my order he decides to answer the phone. This isn’t what upset me, it’s how he was on the phone the entire time explaining to someone how to apply online which is very rude since he stopped acknowledging me. Then he had the phone on his ear talking while he’s making my order. Then I tell him can you please get off the phone while you’re bagging my order as I don’t want your spit flying in my food. I had a really large order for a party that I placed online. After reading reviews, I wasn't really expecting it to be ready on time my husband went kind of late to pick it up (about 20 minutes after i had scheduled pick up). It was ready! But someone had taken one of our bags. They had already replaced the food for us and also gave us a bunch of free apple pies! I appreciated that gesture a lot. I've gotten buckets for parties from this location before (though this was my first time ordering for pick up online) haven't had any issues and will continue to go to this location over others that are a little closer to me.
I want to express my appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Irene at the Popeyes on 2451 Chillum Road yesterday at 9:21 PM, especially as it was my birthday. I ordered 12 wings—6 sweet and spicy and 6 hot—and I was truly impressed with the attention and care she provided during my visit. Since I was celebrating alone and unsure of what to order, Irene patiently guided me with enthusiasm and helpful recommendations. Employees like Irene are a great asset to any restaurant. She was composed, confident, articulate, attentive, and most importantly, incredibly patient with all my questions.

0 STAR SERVICE!I visited this Popeye’s from out of town and left highly disappointed. I ordered 2 sandwich meals and some dessert. I left with only one sandwich which was made completely wrong. For drinks, I was asked if I wanted my strawberry lemonades frozen or chilled. I wanted them chilled. The employee proceeded to hand me 2 strawberry lemonades that were NEITHER frozen or chilled. The drinks were warm with no ice. On top of that, the customer service wasn’t great. I understand everyone has rough days, however, the young lady who took my order was unapproachable and very inattentive.
This particular Popeyes is on a steady decline. The management there hides in the back office, doesn't help their crew when there is an issue w/ customer's order. The wait time there is absurdly long each of the times I've visited or had food delivery from there. On top of all of the above the food is often subpar. There's also been instances where the chicken tasted old and rubbery. I've blacklisted this location and have opted to visit the one in the PG mall. It's a smaller operation but at least you'll get decent tasting food.
Don?t ever go there! Worst customer service, worst food, worst experience . Every one but the Hispanic women was clueless . They seemed mentally challenged . My order was just incorrect and that was OK with them
Regina was terrific and made us feel important ????! The food was fresh and hot ????! This is my favorite Popeyes locally; my very favorite one is in New Orleans in the Garden District ???? they were fantastic!

The food is decent, but the customer service is very poor. The employees are quite condescending. I won't be returning.
I had a long wait and found the menu confusing, plus the chicken was dry. I won't be returning to that location.
