I have always loved the flavor of Popeye's Louisiana chicken and the other day I saw a new location I thought had opened in Stouffville. I was a week early so went 7 km south to the Popeye's on Markham Road. We had their spicy chicken with delicious biscuits and a tasty coleslaw. The chicken is always a treat and the side dishes were superb, Great value and we look forward to the new Stouffville location opening soon.
Was craving some Southern Fried Chicken, and remembered the last awful experience at KFC, so I tried Popeye's ....................... Woweee, was it good! Hot and crispy, just a little greasy ,and mouth watering! Excellent customer service. The lady at the cash was patient and helpful, as I had never ordered here before, and the products were outstanding!
The chicken can be good when it's busy and fresh and we like the side orders. Much better than KFC.I went in for an advertised menu item and the staff turned me away from ordering it, suggesting the wait would be too long. Sometimes the chicken is served cold. I try to avoid this location.
Prices higher than normal; between $1-$1.50. A pop refill which costs $0.30 was turned around so a customer can't refill. There is no standardized system in place. When you have no choice get here and fill your belly. And of course, associates were communicating e in their village tounge. Réservez une table maintenant
Shrink-Flation plus 30% price increase! Tuesday special went from $3.49 to$4.49. What worse is that you are not get the value for your money. Never order daily specials as you will consistently get the smallest piece of chicken. I am disappointed.

The food is awesome and the staff is always so welcoming , number 1 in my books . Great hot food and customer service is number 1. We will always come back to this location. Management is amazing
