The staff was so inviting. They made you feel welcomed. The atmosphere was calm and soothing. Music was not too loud which makes having conversations so easy. I cannot tell you how important that is to me. The food was delicious. I had the penne vodka. It didn’t disappoint. I recommend you try the pasta fagioli. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely go back again.
Table of 5 visit for the 1st time. Food and service exceeded expectations. Server Miguel was top notch and really enhanced the experience. Appetizer and dinner portions were all generous. Ahi tuna and stuffed long hots apps stood out and highly recommended. Sea bass special and Veal saltimbocca dinners were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will certainly return.
We had an outstanding dining experience, complete with exceptional service in a delightful ambiance! I ordered the sea bass special served over spaghetti puttanesca, accompanied by incredible Brussels sprouts. The portions were very generous, and everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was exceptional and very accommodating. We definitely plan to return often!
The owner Carmine makes a point to visit every table, not something you see in most restaurants nowadays. Wonderful live music and excellent authentic Italian food. The staff seem inexperienced but I expect that everywhere these days. At least they were polite and tried very hard! A hidden gem in River Edge that I have already recommended to my friends! I wasn't impressed with the fact that a 20% gratuity was added to the total of my check for a party of 3. I understand that with larger parties of 6 or 8 and more establishments do sometimes add the optional gratuity, but for a party of 3? It seemed a little sneaky, I would have tipped at least 20% maybe more depending on the service.
Our young server Miguel was super friendly and attentive, the food was very good and one of the owners actually stopped by to say hello and introduce herself to us. It will be one of our new go to places to dine.
The food was incredible, starting with the French onion soup, followed by a seafood salad, and finishing with a bone-in veal chop Parmesan. Everything was excellent, and I will definitely be back!
