This restaurant is cozy and charming. Cheshire is a lovely little town. I visited while enjoying penne Alfredo, and I noticed a mouthwatering veggie pizza on the counter. I asked the owner if I could buy a slice, and he explained that he had made it for himself and the staff. However, he kindly offered me a slice to try, and it was absolutely delicious, especially alongside the garlic knots. The owner was friendly and very welcoming. The service was excellent!
The food and service at Rossini's are consistently outstanding. They also do a fantastic job with catering; I can personally vouch for this from the amazing spread they provided for my close friend's birthday party. What sets this place apart is the warm, family-like atmosphere you experience each time you visit, whether you're dining in or picking something up.
I've frequented Rossini's for decades. In fact it might be one of 5 phone numbers I know off the top of my head. The quality has just become too inconsistent of late. You have to ask for a well done pie and there's still a decent chance it comes back doughy. I miss what it used to be but you could certainly do worse. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
The food here, including the pasta, pizzas, salads, and subs, is all excellent. This restaurant is quite famous and very popular, so you might have to wait for a table during busy times.
