the reviews for this restaurant have been mixed and I can understand why. service was excellent and eating came in a reasonable time. the menu has a series of choices, but eating was just ok. barramundi was in order, maybe a little too much kartoffel. Lambry was also good, again a little too much maic. Lunch yesterday at this quaint homely restaurant in the burbs. Service was slow, took over 50 mins for our entrees to be served. We were the only 2 people in restaurant no apology offered for the delay. We opted for lunch special, entree main for $30 per person. Great value for money. Menu extensive. Entrees Salt Pepper bruschetta was delicious. Salt Pepper Calamari- calamari was a tad bland bit tough. Rump steak flavoursome and tasty. Chicken mushrooms risotto. It seems to be missing the chicken mushrooms. The risotto and parmesan cheese was creamy very tasty. Food was good, nothing special..

eating tastes really good from entrée to main dish. we ordered everything they can eat and we are already full of it and the main thing especially the rump steak was sooo good that I had to ask for more. best steak I've ever tried. service is also really good, we never run out eating on the table as they really care about their customers. will defo come back.

Enjoyed this neighborhood cafe, Nice music before the restaurant became crowded. We think the table wear should be a better quality.....cloths, serviettes very basic. we had an excellent evening, we went away the fixed 3 course menu for $50, great worth. steak and lammschaft beautiful. great service, best coffee I had long ago at the end of the night. byo without cork, rare, as hens teeth nowadays. we will definitely come back.

The food was good, decent sized portions. Service was good, didn’t have long to wait for meals. No corkage charge which was a bonus and staff friendly

Food was poorly done. Lamb Shank was bland, rump was chewy, wilted salad leaves and had very dry chicken pieces in the salad.
