I've always had good experiences with Screwballs service and food however today my experience deserves a one star review. The server was miserable from the start. She took over five minutes just to acknowledge us and it wasn't done with a greeting. She put the menus on the table and asked what we wanted to drink. She never said hello and no joke, she never smiled throughout the entire interaction. Our drinks were served quickly but then we waited for over ten minutes, closer to 15 minutes to place our orders. There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant area, one being mine. The other table was being serviced by the bartender, not this server so she had one table to service w...
Excellent location in KOP away from the Mall area. A sizable bar area with extra high tops and lots of seating is available. My purchase was quickly filled, and the staff was excellent. I ordered a Caesar salad and 5 Hot garlic sesame and 5 HOT wings, both of which were pretty ordinary and lacked flavour despite my request for HOT. However, I will give them 5 stars all day because they seem to be one of the few bars in the greater Philadelphia area who have maintained their prices affordable, therefore I will stop by here whenever I am in the area. Additionally, the beer was served in a refrigerated glass and was quite cold.
This is an excellent sports bar with fantastic bartenders and a lively crowd! I was working in King of Prussia and usually grab dinner with my cousin while I’m in the area. When he recommended this place, I didn’t have high expectations, but it turned out to be much better than I anticipated! On the outside, it seems like just another generic dive bar, but trust me, it’s clean, vibrant, and fun. The food is great, they have a huge selection of excellent beers on tap, and the overall atmosphere is just wonderful! I would definitely recommend this place!
So, I'm going to be honest. I would go to angelos and see people outside all the time and thought... no, not for me. First off, I finally tried it with my wife who has been there before. Let me say Joy is the sweetest person in the world. We ordered a chicken sandwich, pork sandwich and Mac and cheese. I walked in and now a complete different perception I did not have. Place is clean and friendly. It has a great atmosphere! Prices are great. My little guy absolutely loves the leftovers too. This is now my go to. Réservez une table maintenant
In May 2023, we visited to see a band called the Mike Greer Band, or maybe it's the Mike Greer Company—I'm not quite sure. Regardless, they were quite good! The drinks and the powdered dough wedges we ordered were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly, and the audience was a nice mix of older and middle-aged people enjoying some classic rock tunes.
Fantastic wing night on Mondays with wings for just 50 cents (minimum order of 10 wings). The plain and Buffalo flavors are great, although I wasn't a fan of the zesty honey variety. However, they offer excellent Bleu cheese for dipping, and there's always something happening every day of the week.
