Shangri-la - Réservation de table

First time having a take away (delivered) from Shangri La It was super easy to order online The meal came in about 25 minutes which was brilliant. And it was piping hot! We had lemon chicken this was good Chips egg friend rice and curry sauce all superb Also had prawn crackers these were so good! Nice and light Salt and pepper chips were full of flavour Vegetable spring rolls were great too The price is so reasonable and generous portions Thanks so much! I’ve struggled to find a really good Chinese take away in Edinburgh that delivers I think this might be my new favourite

We were staying in Edinburgh for a long weekend and foolishly hadn’t booked anywhere to eat on a Saturday night….after too many drinks on a Friday night we were hankering for Chinese food, and came across Shangri-La….. Incredible….quite possibly some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in the UK. The service was also wonderful and friendly, with regulars constantly coming through the door. Don’t be put off by the decor, the food is simply excellent and the food is brilliant…and great value too

Absolutely outstanding service and delicious food, we arrived late on the night of the queen’s funeral and there was no sit down service but take away was available. The lady was so helpful and absolutely amazing in offering to drive our order and us to our accommodation so it didn’t go cold. Food was lovely; big portions and very tasty. She even threw in a portion of prawn crackers and prawn toast.

So, we arrived just after 5 o’clock on a Sunday evening, thinking we might be on the road home by 6:30, or 7:00 pm at the latest; but, one should never tempt fate for we left at 10:45pm (just as a couple of guys entered for a rather late supper). Okay, here’s what happened. Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant was not clean, the door didn't close properly so very cold, my spring onion dish did not contain one spring onion, corkage is £5 per bottle which is written in tiny pencil letters below byo sign. Very average food. But......Very friendly staff.

Wow, is all I can say. We stopped off to see if we could have a table for 3 and we were greeted with a really lovely lady who was the owner. We were greeted with smiles and a very warm welcome.

Regular here, always amazing food, it’s hard to find a good Chinese place in Edinburgh, prices are so reasonable and service is quick. staff are sooo friendly x Réservez une table maintenant

My last 2 orders from Sangri-La has been terrible.I didn't enjoy my dinner, chow mein was bland and tasteless...Dissapointing.
