We are the owners of a roofing company in Stouffville. Several years ago we had to move to a larger location from where we usually had our Christmas parties because of our growth. The only mistake we made was not having moved to Sleepy Hollow sooner to host our event! We have been there for the past 5 years and wouldn't even think about moving anywhere else! I recently celebrated the happiest day of my life “our wedding” and what better place to have had it Sleepy Hollow. I don’t know where to begin on what beautiful staff or atmosphere Sleepy Hollow offered. The wedding coordinator Sheena was unbelievably educated and had great ideas, helped us in vision our dream day, and worked within our budget. There was help every step of the way and some much need advice. My husband and I had an outdoor ceremony with the buffet dinner. Really nice course, helpful and pleasant staff, and good food. However, if you're planning a wedding or other event, you'll want to be aware that many of their members seem to be selfish, entitled, arrogant, and outright rude. They think nothing of driving carts or teeing off through your ceremony, or purposely parking carts in the way during pictures while ensuring you know how inconvenienced they are.Unfortunately it seems the staff doesn't have the ability (or is unwilling) to enforce what should be common courtesy. Perhaps fining these members would go further than "speaking to them" in creating a member's culture a venue could be proud of, rather than the embarrassment that exists today...
We were warmly greeted and assisted with our start. This was our first visit to this private course and we did not know our way. However we were pleased that we saw no one in front of us until the 17th hole and no one pushed us from behind. This is a beautiful course with mature trees, large ponds, and undulating fairways. The greens were a challenge due to their slopes and undulating nature.Our only disappointment was the poor condition of the greens. All greens had green areas but most had some bare spots and had been sanded. This led to several good puts that did not drop. I assume this is a very recent condition brought on by our Central Ontario hot weather a dry conditions.

I attended a Business Gala Dinner recently @ Sleepy Hollow. The meet and greet bar was well organized, bar tending staff was knowledgeable and welcoming. The event started right on schedule and dinner was served - appetizer salad, lovely salmon and chicken dinner with fresh cooked vegetables. Delicious. Dessert was a slice of cheesecake with fresh berries. Again delicious. If you have an upcoming event I would recommend that you check out this venue. In the past I have attending weddings, christmas parties as well. During the summer when asked I have played the course - I always enjoy the challenge of the course and the condition of the course as well.
It was a fairy tale wedding in my books. The outdoor beauty, the flowers, peacefulness, indoor charm and of course the unforgettable hospitality. Sleepy Hollow was the best choice for our wedding of 140 guest. From day one we were greeted with professional, caring and accommodative staff. The food was great, very affordable, the venue was clean and beautifully decorated. The most amazing plus was their event coordinator. She did not miss a beat and surpassed all of our expectations. We are extremely pleased with everything and strongly recommend Sleepy Hollow to anyone planning any kind of celebration.
We recently held our daugthers bridal shower at Sleepy Hollow Golf and country club, and it was simply beautiful. Stacey and the staff decorated the place exactly according to our requirements and the food was delicious. The service was excellent, they made our bridal shower very special by taking care of every little request. We will consider using this venue again for our events and would recommend this venue to anyone who is thinking of holding an event here.
Played this course for the first time and overall I would rate it very good but the greens were way too bumpy. In fact, it was impossible to read a putt.

Ordered their burger combo with onion rings. Burger was cooked just right. Juicy! Onion rings were enormous... Too much food! :)
