Nothing but good things to say about my visit to the Southbank Beer Garden this evening. I joined a bunch of work colleagues for drinks as we were saying farewell to another colleague. We arrived about 5 pm and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Gin & Tonic I ordered was only $5. You've got to love happy hour! Better still, a few minutes later a lovely server dropped off large plates of complimentary Chicken Wings - Mild and Spicy - which it turns out are free every Friday between 4:30-5:30 pm. The mild wings had just a tiny bit of spice to them, while the spicy wings packed a little bit of a kick. I went back up to the bar to get a pint of James Squire and discovered...
